Break the chains of imagination!

disclaimer: A lot of spiritual disciplines discourage desire, I think this is mostly due to a misunderstanding,
for instance buddhism doesn't really look down on desire, but attachment to desire. Everyone has desires,
the point is to control them, and not let them control you.

"Everything, every event, every thought that happens on earth, takes a form that projects in a certain matter. Around humans, and as such around the entire earth there is a sphere, you could call it an ether sphere, that is build out of a very matter, that is very moldable. The elements here immediately take the forms of what happens in thought and action on earth. This happens with every event, thought, sound and feeling that coincide with things. As long as one can hold a concentrated thought, such a form comes to completion. Is it a loose thought, then the form will not be finished. If one releases the thought entirely, then the form too shall dissipate and disappear after a time."

Thought is the invisible link by which the individual comes into communication with the Universal, the finite with the Infinite, the seen with the Unseen.
Thought is the magic by which the human is transformed into a being who thinks and knows and feels and acts.

"In the universe there is an unmeasurable, indescribable force which those who live of the source (sorcerers) call intention and that absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link. Sorcerers are not only concerned with understanding and explaining that connecting link but they are especially concerned with cleansing it of the numbing effects brought about by all of the concerns of living at ordinary levels of consciousness. Sorcery at this level could be defined as the procedure of cleaning one's connecting link to intent."

What the mind can conceive & believe the mind can achieve.

"Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve."
W. Clement Stone

"I found (namely with relation to magic) an enlightening exposition of the sixth book of the Naturalia of vicenna, that in the human soul there houses a certain power (virtus) to change things and that the other things are subordinate to this; and especially when they are swept away by a grand excess of love and hate or something similar. So if the soul of a human reaches a passion of some sort, we can experimentally conclude that he (namely the excess) binds the things (magically) and specifically changes them in the direction he wishes and I have long not believed it (!) but after I read nigromantian books and the like about sigils (imaginum) and magic, I found that (really) the emotional character (affectio) of the human soul is the head root of all these things, either because of its great emotion changes her body and other things she desires, or because of her dignity where other things are subordinate, or because with all border-crossing effects the right star hour or astrological situation or another parallel power reigns and we (because of this) believe that whatever creates this power is accomplished by the soul. So who would want to know the secret to effect and solve this, must know that everyone can influence everything magically if he reaches an excess of emotions and he must then at the right time perform the things that the soul directs him to. The soul is namely so desiring for the cause it wants to accomplish that it even out of itself chooses the most important and best star hour, that also controls the things that better fit that case. (...) And so it is that the soul that desires things more intensively, makes things more active and more equal to what comes forth from it. (...) In a similar way namely functions the creation of everything that the soul desires with an intensive longing. Everything that flotas in her direction has force of movement and working in that direction where the soul desires."

"Photons come out of nowhere, they cannot be stored, they can barely be pinned down in time, and they have no home in space whatsoever. That is, light occupies no volume and has no mass. The similarity between a thought and a photon is very deep. Both are born in the region beyond space and time where nature controls all processes in that void which is full of creative intelligence."
Deepak Chopra

"In the early 1980s, thanks to the development of a sophisticated measurement device, a team of scientists demonstrated that the cells of all living beings emit photons at a rate of up to approximately 100 units per square centimeter of surface area. "Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value then they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Jesus - Matthew 6:26 - 6:33

The rainmaker was a little old man who had been asked to come and end a terrible drought. He arrived in the drought-stricken area and said that all he needed was a house where he could be secluded. For three days the rainmaker sat in stillness. On the fourth day a huge snowstorm came and ended the drought.
This story was reported by eye-witness author Richard Wilhelm. Wilhelm approached the rainmaker after the storm and asked him how he had made the snow. The man said, “I did not make the snow. I am not responsible.” Wilhelm said, “But what have you done these three days?”
“Oh, I can explain that,” the rainmaker said. “I come from another country where things are in order. Here they are out of order, they are not as they should be by the ordinances of heaven. Therefore the whole country is not in the Tao, and I also am not in the natural order of things because I am in a disordered country. So I had to wait three days until I was back in the Tao, and then naturally the snow came.”
Carl Jung, Mysterium Coniunctionis, p419f, footnote

"Man needs courage to be a man and become one. If the self wants any reality, it has to realise itself and commit. This is the distinction between man and the rest of nature. The acorn becomes an oak by means of automatic growth; no commitment is necessary. The kitten similarly becomes a cat on the basis of instinct. Nature and being are identical in creatures like them. But a man or woman becomes fully human only by his or her choices and his or her commitment to them. People attain worth and dignity by the multitude of decisions they make from day by day. These decisions require courage."
Rollo May

"Ask yourself: Does this path have a heart? If yes, then is it a righteous path. If not, then it is without merit. Both roads lead nowhere, but one has a heart, the other doesn't. On one you'll have a happy journey; as long as you follow it, you are one with it. The other will make you curse your life. One makes you stronger, the other weak."
Don Juan (Carlos Castaneda)

"All roads are equal: they lead nowhere. They are roads that go through bushes or lead to bushes.
The point is travelling with a heart, the destination doesn't matter."

"Every way is one of many. That's why you must always remember that a way is only a way. If you have a feeling it's better not to follow it, you can not continue it at any cost. To posess that clarity of mind you must lead a balanced life. Only then you will know that each way is just a way, and it isn't insulting to you or anyone elese to leave it, if that's what your heart tells you. But your decision to stay on the road or to leave' it, must be free of fear and ambition (...) regard every road carefully and with deliberation. Test it as often as needed."
Don Juan (Carlos Castaneda)
