When you take synchronicity to the next level, you can accomplish that which you really want by doing everything you can for it and combining it with a non-attached faith that your goal will be reached. Have you ever noticed how what you always complain about tends to always resurface in your life? What you resist persists. They say changing the way you think, changes the way you look at the world. Not only because your selective attention sees what it is focusing on, but it goes a little further than that. Try to become more accepting and tolerant of the negativity in your life. However don't repress it, you have to face your problems and issues as an important part of psychological growth (shadow work). There's a lot of really misleading information out there on the law of attraction, it focuses on material gain and only on the consciousness aspects of it and considers it the entire puzzle while it's only a piece, while that alone will accomplish little or nothing. If you want to make something happen, you do everything you can and have the faith. Merely having faith is self-deceit. |
|
There are a lot of mistakes in these law of attraction teachings though. First of all they consider it the entire puzzle while
it's only a piece. Also negativity should never be ignored but
transmuted, see Carl Jung and the Shadow. So we become a more integrated person. Second, this shouldn't - and probably won't succesfully - be used
for gaining material trinkets. But it can be used to attract the right kind of people, books, information and experience into your life to help you on your path and toward your goals.
Another important factor to stress though, is the necessity of action, an aspect sadly very much ignored in The Secret docu as well,
(but admitted by some participants afterwards...). Without action, you are just practicing wishful thinking! After all it is called the law of attraction ;)
To obtain your desires, to fulfill your dreams you have to do everything you can in the real world to achieve it, and use the law of attraction as a supplement, not
the main ingredient. Another important aspect is STS and STO, Service to Self is a greedy, selfish, shallow path and if you want to use
the law of attraction for this, you'll soon learn that true happiness is not about materialism... Real Service to Self is helping
others as well and growing creatively and integrally.
Check out these great articles which clear up much confusion and are skeptical of the new age bullshit being pushed:

2 (must read, clears up much BS!)
ps: Ignore all these so called 'law of attraction' teachers money projects, the reason they say it's so easy (for them) is cause you're paying them thousands of dollars to tell
you stuff you probably already know and could read in any book or website that doesn't cost thousands of dollars.

I'm in the mood
to help you dude!
Rule number 1: I can't kill anybody. Bleurk! *Slices own head off* So don't ask. *Sticks head back on*
Rule number 2: I can't make anybody fall in love with anybody else. *Kisses Aladdin* You little punim there!
Rule number 3: *Lies flat on back, rises, transforms into hideous 'undead' creature*
I can't bring people back from the dead. It's not a pretty picture. *clutching at Aladdin*
I DON'T LIKE DOING IT! *Transforms back to normal* Other than that, you got it!
Step 2 You ask for what you want in meditation, you can think big, but think 'realistically' which means it has to be physically possible, hence the Aladdin reference. Find out more about the different methods
mentioned in the beginning of the page or... the easiest way is visualisation meditation, just lie down or sit with straight spine and visualise for, say a half hour every day what you want
to see, experience, receive in your life with positive strong emotions, like you already have what you want. Only dwell on the END RESULT, not HOW it will come to you. The key is to print on your subconscious mind
to accept what your conscious mind wants!
Step 3 The universe answers, this might be through a synchronicity hinting at what's to come. (how, when,
etc is beyond your control. You will have to be in alignment with the universe, therefor become a loving, grateful,
accepting person. The attidude of gratitude! Also, you have to believe it is possible & that you deserve it,
convince yourself, manage your own Belief System! (B.S. ;p) When you have inner peace and joy, the outer equivalents appear!).
Relinquish resistance to anything. Remember, you are not just creating reality by your thoughts and intentions but also
through observing reality, this is what keeps reality stable. So try to be as positive as you can be. If you get
negative you will be nullifying your previous intentions.
Step 4 You receive/allow it in. A radio tuner must be set to match the frequency of a broadcasting
station, as you will have to be allowing what you're asking for. You might have to take action to
receive what you want. You will get a hunch, an idea, see an opportunity, and you will have to grab it!
That's the fun about it!
There's a time delay of course, things would get a bit hectic if we all manifested what we
thought about! This might be between one day to three months, the key is to stay positive and
work towards what you want.
Step 1: See the world as an abundant, providing, friendly place. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. When you see the world as abundant and friendly, your intentions are genuine possibilities. They will, in fact, become a certainty, because your world will be experienced from the higher frequencies. In this first step, you're receptive to a world that provides rather than restricts. You'll see a world that wants you to be successful and abundant rather than one that conspires against you.
Step 2: Affirm: I attract success and abundance into my life because that is who I am. This puts you into vibratory harmony with your Source. Your goal is to eliminate any distance between what you desire and that from which you pull to bring it into your life. Abundance and success aren't out there waiting to show up for you. You are already it, and the Source can only provide you with what it is — and, consequently, what you are — already.
Step 3: Stay in an attitude of allowing. Resistance is disharmony between your desire for abundance and your beliefs about your ability or worthiness. Allowing means a perfect alignment. An attitude of allowing means that you ignore efforts by others to dissuade you. It also means that you don't rely on your pervious ego-oriented beliefs about abundance being a part of or not a part of your life. In an attitude of allowing, all resistance in the form of thoughts of negativity or doubt is replaced with simply knowing that you and your Source are one and the same. Picture the abundance you desire freely flowing directly to you. Refuse to do anything or have any thought that compromises your alignment with Source.
Step 4: Use your present moments to activate thoughts that are in harmony with the seven faces of intention (creativity, kindness, love, beauty, expansion, abundance and peaceful receptivity). The key phrase here is present moments. Notice right now, in this moment, if you're thinking that it's hopeless at this stage of your life to change the thoughts that comprise your belief system. Do you defeat yourself with thoughts of having had such a long life practicing affirmations of scarcity and creating resistance to your success and abundance that you don't have enough time left to counterbalance the thoughts that comprise your belief system?
Make the choice to let go of that lifetime of beliefs, and begin activating thoughts right now that allow you to feel good. Say I want to feel good whenever anyone tries to convince you that your desires are futile. Say I want to feel good when you're tempted to return to low-energy thoughts of disharmony with intention. Eventually your present moments will activate thoughts that make you feel good, and this is an indicator that you're reconnecting to intention. Wanting to feel good is synonymous with wanting to feel God. Remember: "God is good, and all that God created was good."
Step 5: Initiate actions that support your feelings of abundance and success. Here, the key word is actions. I've been calling this acting as if or thinking from the end and acting that way. Put your body into a gear that pushes you toward abundance and feeling successful. Act on those passionate emotions as if the abundance and success you seek are already here. Speak to strangers with passion in your voice. Answer the telephone in an inspired way. Do a job interview from the place of confidence and joy. Read the books that mysteriously show up, and pay close attention to conversations that seem to indicate you're being called to something new.
Step 6: Remember that your prosperity and success will benefit others, and that no one lacks abundance because you've opted for it. The supply is unlimited. The more you partake of the generosity of the universe, the more you'll have to share with others. In writing this book, wonderful abundance has flowed into my life in many ways. But even more significantly, book editors and graphic designers, the truck drivers who deliver the book, the auto workers who build the trucks, the farmers who feed the auto workers, and bookstore clerks, all receive abundance because I've followed my bliss and have written this book.
Step 7: Monitor your emotions as a guidance system for your connection to the universal mind of intention. Strong emotions such as passion and bliss are indications that you're connected to Spirit, or inspired, if you will. When you're inspired, you activate dormant forces, and the abundance you seek in any form comes streaming into your life. When you're experiencing low-energy emotions of rage, anger, hatred, anxiety, despair, and the like, that's a clue that while your desires may be strong, they're completely out of sync with the field of intention. Remind yourself in these moments that you want to feel good, and see if you can activate a thought that supports your feeling good.
Step 8: Become as generous to the world with your abundance as the field of intention is to you. Don't stop the flow of abundant energy by hoarding or owning what you receive. Keep it moving. Use your prosperity in the service of others, and for causes greater than your ego. The more you practice detachment, the more you'll stay in vibratory harmony with the all-giving Source of everything.
Step 9: Devote the necessary time to meditate on the Spirit within as the source of your success and abundance. There's no substitute for the practice of meditation. This is particularly relevant with abundance. You must have an understanding that your consciousness of the Presence is your supply. By repeating the sound that is in the name of God as a mantra, you're using a technique for manifesting as ancient as recorded history. I am particularly drawn to the form of meditation called Japa. I know it works.
Step 10: Develop an attitude of gratitude for all that manifests into your life. Be thankful and filled with awe and appreciation, even if what you desire hasn't arrived yet. Even the darkest days of your life are to be looked on with gratitude. Everything coming from Source is on purpose. Be thankful while empowering your reconnection to that form from which you and everything else originated.
...
The energy that creates worlds and universes is within you. It works through attraction and energy. Everything vibrates; everything has a vibratory frequency. As St. Paul said, "God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance." Tune to God's frequency, and you will know it beyond any and all doubt!

Wayne Dyer: Power of Intention 1 2 (streaming video)
1. What do you want?
Allow yourself unlimited dreams and goals. What form would they take?
2. Why do you want it?
What qualities would it bring to your life? From what level does the desire come?
3. Identify and Transform
Your negative beliefs and inner blockages
4. Release the Past.
Do something symbolic to convince your subconscious that you are letting go of the old to make way for the new.
5. Ask for Help.
Contact your inner world in whatever way seems appropriate for you, through a ritual, an affirmation or an image.
6. Gratitude.
Be thankful for what you have now.
7. Become your Future Self.
Act as if you have the qualities that you desire, as if you have achieved your dream or goal.
8. Let it go!
Trust in the process of life.
9. Be open to receive.
Know that you are worthy and trust the universe to define the form and the timing.
Your core belief systems are ingrained and they rule your repetitive self-talk that goes on non-stop (even when you are sleeping). It takes concerted effort to change one's subconscious self-talk. It takes a true examination of core beliefs to find out what limits the full expression of your potential to self-actuate and succeed.
"It turned out badly, just like I imagined or just like I believed it would, no matter how much I tried that positive thinking stuff and that affirmation stuff." Of course it did and there is your proof that it does work, if you'd only be honest with yourself.
The truth is that, no matter how much it is denied, your thoughts and your beliefs create your reality. Not the stuff you think about at odd moments, but the stuff you think in the background when you are not even paying attention. The stuff you think when you react. Not the stuff you want to believe, but the stuff that you deep-down believe about yourself and life...that's what produces the results.
If you do not ever do the work necessary to examine and change your core beliefs and subconscious self-talk, you cannot expect to change your reality picture- because you are imagining and expecting things to be the way they have always been and they are the way they have always been because of your core beliefs and predominant repetitive self-talk.
If you want success but don't believe you deserve it, you won't get it or won't keep it if, somehow, you manage to luck into it. If you believe that you want to go to heaven some day and also believe that 'it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven', then you'll not get rich. If you believe that it takes what you don't have to achieve success or that success is somehow tainted, you'll not achieve it.
If your subconscious is constantly telling you how unworthy you are, in some repetitive loop of some parental or teacher's instruction, you'll not be able to break free of that mental prison, until and unless, you make the effort to examine your core beliefs and subconscious programming AND then discard all the crap that does not serve you and replace it with stuff that does.
You will get the results you imagine and expect. What are you imagining? What are you expecting? Those are the questions you need to ask yourself.
